Yummy Summer Salad w/ Grilled Pork

4-6 lean pork chops (about 1/2 in thick)
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion salt
S & P to taste
1 full head leafy greens (romaine or red leaf lettuce, or use a bag of fresh spinach)
5-6 large sliced strawberries
1/2 c. candied almonds (mix raw chopped almonds with 1 TBS melted butter and 1 TBS. sugar and cook until caramelized)
Brianna's Blush Wine Vinagrette

Mix bread crumbs with seasoning. Dip pork chops in bread crumb mixture. Grill in frying pan about 4-5 min. on each side. While pork chops are cooking, mix clean greens in chilled bowl. Toss with strawberries and candied almonds. Add salad dressing to taste. Top with warm, grilled pork chops.

Light and delicious!

The Easiest Lower-Fat Cupcakes

Did you know you can make cupcakes from a cake mix with just 1 can of Sprite?

Pretty easy recipe, huh?
1 12 oz. can of Sprite (not diet)
1 Duncan Heinz Super Moist cake mix (I used yellow)
Pour batter into cupcake tins, bake at 350 for 18 minutes.
Cool and serve. If you want to make them not so low-fat, and still keep them easy as pie (whoever said making pie was easy?) Pillsbury has a new frosting that is the easiest, best way to frost cupcakes, ever!

Welcome to Tasty Sensations!

Hi foodie readers! Thanks for changing over to http://www.tastysensations.blogspot.com/! I'm going to take some liberties, since this is, after all, my food blog. I'm going to write about food - because I think about it all the time. What a great outlet!

Don't worry, recipe-lovers. My favorite recipes will still monopolize Tasty Sensations. It will also include new fun things, such as: Leftovers (aka Lunch Lady Meals), Food Reviews, and other Random Food Thoughts!

Be patient while I fine tune the site a bit. Stay tuned, tell your friends where they can find great recipes and fun-food reading, and as always, happy eating.
Nothing would be more tiresome than eating and drinking if God had not made them a pleasure as well as a necessity.
