2 1/4 c. flour
1.5 tsp. baking soda
1.5 tsp. sea salt (+ more for sprinkling)
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 TBS. greek yogurt
3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. milk chocolate chips
Brown butter (bring to boil, stir and watch until brown specks appear and a nutty aroma fills the air. About 5 minutes). Pour into a large plastic mixing bowl to cool. Add brown sugar and blend with mixer. Add remaining wet ingredients. Mix in dry ingredients until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Chill dough in freezer 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350. Scoop dough onto baking sheet. Sprinkle with finely granulated sea salt. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack (yeah right, I eat them warm right off the pan).
